About QR Code

Creates custom QR codes for links, Wi-Fi, WhatsApp, contact cards (vCard), free text and more.

What sets this QR code generator apart

More than a link turned into little squares: the QR code gets its own frame, logo and shape, and comes out as a vector for the print shop. The features that stand out:

  • 34 content types

Link, text, phone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, vCard, location, event, crypto, payments and more. The See all button shows the full list.

  • Frames with your own text

A dozen frame styles (card, bar, polaroid, ticket, phone and others) and a field to change the text that appears on it.

  • Vector download (SVG)

Besides PNG, JPG and WEBP, the SVG never loses sharpness at any size: ideal for print shops, stickers and signs. In image formats, the size goes from 512 to 4096 px.

  • Your own logo and shapes

Put an icon in the center and choose the shape of the modules and markers (square, rounded, dots, liquid and others), plus the colors.

  • My designs

Save your customization in this browser to generate the next code with the same look.

  • Wi-Fi passwords and payment details stay in the browser

The code is generated on your device and nothing is sent to a server.

A practical example

A café wants a poster with its menu. It generates a link QR code for the online menu, adds the brand colors and the logo in the center and tests it with a phone camera. It downloads the SVG to print at a large size without losing sharpness.

How to use it

  1. Choose the content type and fill in the data.
  2. Customize colors, logo and frame.
  3. Test it with your phone’s camera.
  4. Download as PNG, SVG, JPG or WEBP.

Limits and cautions

  • Large logos and low-contrast colors make the code harder to read; always test before printing.
  • A link’s QR code points to the address you typed: if the website goes offline, the code stops working.

WebFaz QR Code generator with the content types (Text, URL, Phone, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi and others), the link address field and the preview of the generated QR Code.
QR Code: type, content and preview.
  1. Point 1: Choose the QR Code type: link, text, phone, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, vCard, Pix and others. The “See all” button shows the rest.
  2. Point 2: Fill in the content. The preview beside it updates instantly, and nothing is sent to servers.

When to use it

  • Putting on posters, cards and packaging a code that leads to a website, menu or profile.
  • Sharing the Wi-Fi password with visitors without dictating it.
  • Collecting payments with a printed code at the counter.

Tips

  • Use dark colors on a light background; the reverse fails in many readers.
  • Always test with the camera of more than one phone before printing.
  • For large prints, download as SVG: it does not lose definition.

What happens in your browser

The QR code is generated in the browser from the text you enter. The data lives inside the image itself: no server looks the code up, so it does not “expire” and works without depending on WebFaz.

The code has error correction: part of it can be dirty or covered and still be read. That is why you can put a logo in the center, but large logos and low-contrast colors use up that margin and make it harder to read.

For Wi-Fi, WhatsApp and contact cards (vCard), the tool builds the text in the format apps recognize, and the phone opens the right action when it reads the code.

Is my Wi-Fi password or payment key saved?
No. The code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
Can I add a logo?
Yes, but keep the logo small and test the scan afterwards.
Which format should I download?
SVG for large prints, PNG for screens and documents, JPG and WEBP for lighter files.
Do I have to pay to generate one?
No. There is no sign-up, no limit on codes and no watermark.
