A practical example
You are going to draw three prizes among 40 participants of a livestream. You paste the list of names (one per line), ask for 3 winners with no repeats and show the screen to the viewers. If a winner does not show up, you draw another with the same button, already without the names that came out.

Limits and cautions

What happens in your browser
The draw uses the browser’s random number generator (Math.random). It is suitable for games, everyday choices and informal draws; it is not a cryptographic generator, so it is not suitable for draws that require an audit.
In list draws, the choice is made among the lines you pasted. Without repeats, each drawn item leaves the set before the next pick.
Lottery picks are random combinations within the rules of the game. No pattern increases the chance of hitting: every combination has the same probability.
