How to do it, step by step
- Choose the videos (and images) you want to join.
- Reorder with the arrows and remove what you do not want.
- Between each pair, choose a transition and the duration.
- Choose the frame format and export.
When this is useful
Join pieces of a recording
Join the files in the right order and export one.
Build a presentation with photos and videos
Images come in as 5-second scenes.
Make a vertical or square video
Choose 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and other frame formats.
Tips for a good result
- There are 16 transitions, such as fade, dissolve, slide, push, zoom, wipe, circle and spin.
- The transition overlaps the end of one video and the start of the next, so the total gets shorter: in the test, two 6 s videos became 12.05 s without a transition and 11.24 s with a 0.8 s fade.
- In the Automatic format, the frame follows that of the first video.
What this tool does not do
- It is not possible to trim inside each video on this page; for that, trim beforehand or use the full editor.
- Everything happens in the browser: the video is not sent. Large files depend on the device’s memory and capacity.
- The video is rebuilt on export (it is not a direct copy): choose the quality and size under Export.
- MP4 depends on the browser having an H.264 encoder; without it, the app records in real time (it takes as long as the video, with the tab open).
- This page does only this task. Timeline, texts, effects and animations are in the full editor.
Frequently asked questions
- How many videos can I join?
- There is no fixed number: the limit is the device’s memory.
- Can I join videos of different sizes?
- Yes. Those with a different aspect ratio are centered in the frame, without stretching.
- Why did the final video come out shorter than the sum of the videos?
- Because the transition overlaps the end of one video and the start of the next. Choose “None” between the two to add up the full durations.
- How long does an image last?
- Each image comes in as a 5-second scene.
