Split PDF online: extract pages or separate each page into its own file

Have an 80-page PDF and only need three? Choose the pages from the thumbnails or type the ranges and get the cut-out ready. You can also separate every page, each in its own PDF, inside a ZIP. All in the browser, no upload.

Split PDF

Extract pages or ranges into a new PDF.

Drag your file here or click to choose

Accepted formats: .pdf

How to do it, step by step

  1. Select the PDF: the pages appear as thumbnails.
  2. Click the pages you want to keep, or type the ranges in the field, such as 1-3, 5, 8-10.
  3. Click Run. The app asks how to deliver: a single PDF with the chosen pages or all the pages separated in a ZIP.
  4. Download the result.

When this is useful

Send only the relevant part of a contract

Extract the clause and the signature page without exposing the rest of the document to someone who does not need to see it.

Remove blank pages or covers

Select everything that matters and leave out what is left.

One file per page

Useful for payslips, bills or certificates gathered in one PDF that must be delivered individually.

Tips for a good result

  • Mix single pages and ranges in the same field: 2, 4-6, 11.
  • If nothing is selected, the app understands that you want all the pages.
  • To change the order of the extracted pages, use Organize PDF afterwards.

What this tool does not do

  • It does not split by size in megabytes or by bookmarks: the split is by page.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between split and organize?
Split creates a new file with only the chosen pages. Organize reorders and deletes pages in the document itself.
Can I extract pages that are not in sequence?
Yes. Click the thumbnails you want or write the numbers separated by commas.
Is the original file changed?
No. The original stays intact on your device; you download a new file.
