Tips for a good result
- Photograph documents in good light and in portrait: the PDF reflects the quality of the photo.
- To have searchable text afterwards, run the generated PDF through the OCR PDF tool.
What this tool does not do
- It does not improve bad images: it only gathers them onto pages.
- Very large photos produce heavy PDFs; if needed, reduce afterwards with Compress PDF.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it accept HEIC photos from iPhone?
- Convert to JPG first in the Image Conversion app and then use this tool.
- What is the difference from Scan?
- This tool accepts any image already saved. The Scan page is designed for photos of documents taken on the spot.
