Module shapeThe shape of each little square of the code. Very open shapes can reduce readability in dense codes.
Markers (outer frame)The three larger markers are essential for the camera to recognize the code.
Markers (center)The center can be hollow, round, diamond or star.The center of the markers. Combine it with the outer frame for a unique look.
FramesThe frame organizes the QR code and can include a caption. The no-frame option keeps only the safe area.

How to do it, step by step

  1. Host the menu (page, PDF or menu service) and copy the public link.
  2. Paste the link in the Menu link field.
  3. Choose a frame with a caption under Customize.
  4. Download, print and stick on the tables.

Tips for a good result

  • Update the content of the link without changing the QR Code: the code points to the address, and the menu behind it can change.
  • Prefer light pages: on table 4G, very heavy PDFs are slow to open.
  • Print at least 3 cm in size and test at the real table.

What this tool does not do

  • WebFaz does not host the menu: the link must be somewhere else, public.
  • If the menu’s address changes, the printed code must be redone.
