How to do it, step by step

  1. Write the text in the Text field.
  2. Watch the code density in the preview: long texts make the QR fuller of dots.
  3. Customize and test the scan.
  4. Download the file.

When this is useful

Coupon or access code

A short text like WELCOME10 appears on the screen of whoever scans.

Instructions on equipment

A label with usage or maintenance guidance, without depending on the internet.

Serial number or identification

Include a piece of information the person can copy from the screen.

Tips for a good result

  • The shorter the text, the easier to read at a small size.
  • The app shows the code’s density (low, medium or high): prefer low or medium.

What this tool does not do

  • Very long texts produce dense codes that the camera struggles to read; above about 2,300 characters the content does not fit.
  • The phone’s reader shows the text, but does not run anything.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work without internet?
Yes: the text is inside the code itself, and reading is done by the camera.
Can I use accents and emojis?
Accents work. Texts with many symbols increase the code’s size.
