When this is useful

Logo for social networks and documents

Many platforms do not accept SVG, but they do accept PNG.

Icons for presentations

Slide programs handle PNG more predictably.

Tips for a good result

  • The PNG comes out at the size the SVG itself declares. If you need a large image, the SVG must have large dimensions defined.
  • Prefer SVG with fonts converted to outlines, so the text appears the same.

What this tool does not do

  • The app has no field to choose the PNG’s width or scale.
  • Fonts and external resources referenced by the SVG may not appear in the conversion.
  • The PNG is a pixel image: it loses the ability to be enlarged without losing sharpness.

Frequently asked questions

Is the background transparent?
Yes, if the SVG has no background of its own.
Can I choose the PNG resolution?
Not in this converter. The size follows what the SVG defines.
