TIFF to JPG: convert scans and professional images

Scanners, cameras and graphics workflows generate TIFF, a large format that is poorly accepted for sharing. Convert to JPG and cut the weight a lot. The app reads the first page of the TIFF file.

How to do it, step by step

  2. Adjust the JPG Quality.
  3. Click Convert all (large TIFFs may take a few seconds).

When this is useful

Scans of documents and old photos

Scanners often export TIFF; JPG is much easier to send.

Shrink a file to send by email

A TIFF of tens of MB becomes a JPG of a few MB.

Tips for a good result

  • For a multi-page file (multi-page TIFF), the app converts only the first: separate the pages beforehand if you need all of them.

What this tool does not do

  • Only the first page of the TIFF is converted.
  • Some TIFF compression types or color modes may not be supported; in that case the app warns you.
  • Limit of 40 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side.
