How to do it, step by step
- Select the PDF and open the page you want to crop.
- Draw the rectangle of the area to keep.
- Repeat on the other pages that need cropping.
- Click Run and download the cropped PDF.
When this is useful
Remove margins from scans
Scans often come with black borders or a lot of white space; cropping leaves only the document.
Read articles on a small screen
Removing wide margins makes the text take up more space on the phone.
Isolate a table or image
Keep only the region of interest of a page to reuse in another document.
Tips for a good result
- Crop each page separately when the content changes position along the file.
- Rotate the pages before cropping, if they are sideways.
What this tool does not do
- Cropping adjusts the visible area of the page; do not rely on it alone to erase information irreversibly.
- It does not crop borders automatically: the area is chosen by you.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the text outside the cropped area really disappear?
- The page now shows only the chosen area. Do not use cropping as a way to hide sensitive data that should not be shared.
- Can I apply the same crop to all pages?
- You set the area on each page; for long documents, it is worth grouping similar pages.
