Text (TXT) to PDF: turn a text file into a document

Select a .txt (or .log) file and download a PDF in A4 pages, with each line of the file on the same line of the PDF and the indentation kept. It serves to keep notes, records and code in a format that opens on any device. The conversion happens in the browser, without uploading the file.

Print a text file

A4 pages with a 2 cm margin.

Tips for a good result

  • For headings, lists and bold, write in Markdown and use the Markdown to PDF page.
  • Long lines wrap automatically at the page width.

What this tool does not do

  • It uses a single monospaced font (Courier, 10 pt): there is no bold, headings or colors.
  • Emojis and non-Latin alphabets (such as Arabic, Chinese or Japanese) come out as "?".
  • Repeated spaces in the middle of a line are reduced to one; the indentation at the start of the line is kept.
  • Limit of 3 MB per file.
