When this is useful

Keep a receipt or short report

Many systems let you save the page as HTML; the PDF is easier to archive and send.

Document a template you created yourself

Turn the HTML of a simple letter or proposal into a PDF to send.

Tips for a good result

  • Prefer HTML with styles inside the file itself: external style files and images may not load.
  • The shorter and simpler the page, the better the result.

What this tool does not do

  • The page is rendered as an image in a one-sheet A4 PDF: the PDF’s text is not selectable.
  • Very long pages are scaled down to fit the sheet and may become too small to read.
  • It does not convert a website address: you need the HTML file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enter a website address?
No. This tool converts an HTML file you already have on your device.
Can the PDF text be copied?
No, because the page becomes an image. If you need the text, run OCR PDF on the result or use the original HTML.
For long documents, what is the best option?
Write the content in Word and use the Word to PDF tool, which generates several pages with real text.
